We have never seen and will never see another prospect like Travis Hunter.

Even trapped in a phonebooth, you still couldn’t cover Travis Hunter. His elite athleticism, acrobatic body control and super glue like hands make him an unstoppable force at all levels of the field. My personal favorite part of Travis’ game is his hand fighting ability. As a double agent cornerback, he has a masters degree in the chess match played at the line of scrimmage. Hunter utilizes timing and precise hand placement to create separation against all defenders in coverage.

Whether Travis decides to play corner or wide receiver will be up to him. As contracts and longevity increasingly favor the WR position, I believe this will be the route he takes in the draft process. With a lot of prospects, you can’t wait for them to take the next step and graduate into the NFL. While I am excited for this, I think it’s beyond important to recognize the magic we’re watching every Saturday in Travis Hunter. He’s a unicorn and such a great human as well. Let’s enjoy the moment and witness this greatness the rest of this season.
